HOUSTON (VENTUREWIRE) -- Final Arrangements, a holding company that owns Arrangeonline.com and Continental Computer Specialties, said it raised $7.5 million in third-round funding from Aegis Insurance Holding. The company said it is keeping the round open until July so additional investors may invest in the company under the same terms as Aegis. A total of $2.5 million more could be invested. Return investor Aegis is the lead investor. Part of the funding will be used to redeem all outstanding Series B stock in Arrangeonline that is currently held by the founders of Continental Computers. The remaining money will be used for operating costs of Arrangeonline. Final Arrangements has raised approximately $16 million to date. It is advised by the law firm Boyer Ewing & Harris in Houston.
