HOUSTON (VENTUREWIRE) -- Final Arrangements, a holding company that owns Arrangeonline.com, an online obituary archive, and Continental Computer, which makes software for managing funeral homes, said it added James E. Drake, a retired vascular surgeon, to its board of managers. Mr. Drake becomes the ninth member of the board. Additional members include William S. Kilroy Jr., CEO of Final Arrangements; Michael G. Fullington, president of Arrangeonline and Continental Computer; Nadine Smith, president of Final Arrangements and CEO of Arrangeonline; Elwood A. Freeman, co-founder of Continental Computer; and T. Allen Walker, an investor in the company. Arrangeonline has raised approximately $9 million in two rounds, primarily from individual investors.
