Linda M. Fickett

Casco - Linda M. Fickett, born Linda M. Ingalls, 47 years of age of the New Road, passed away on Friday evening October 30, 2009 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House following a long battle with cancer. She was born in Portland, ME on October 13, 1962; the daughter of Pauline W. Ingalls and Carroll H. Ingalls.

She attended So. Portland Schools and graduated in 1981. She married Charles I. Gemmell, Jr. of Westbrook, Me and has a son, Michael C. Gemmell of Casco, Me.

She was pre-deceased by her husband from a second marriage, Frank W. Fickett; her father, Carroll Ingalls; a sister, Rebecca Ingalls; and brother, Gregory Ingalls, Sr.

She is survived by her mother, Pauline Ingalls of South Portland, one son, Michael Gemmell; grandson, Ethan Gemmell; and one brother, Donald Ingalls, Sr.; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Relatives and friends are invited to call Tuesday evening from 6-8pm at the Independent Death Care Chapel, 471 Deering Avenue, Portland. A funeral service will be held at the chapel on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 2pm.

Interment will be in Forest City Cemetery, South Portland.
