Born near Valmeyer, IL; grew up on the farm. She married Homer C. Rusterberg and her and her husband farmed at Valmeyer. They moved to Highland in 1962 to a farm northeast of town. They moved into town of Highland in 1969. Shemoved to Moriarty, NM in the late 1990`s to be with her daughter. Besides farming she worked many jobs for numerous companies. She was an excellent seamstress and did alterations and sewed dresses in her home.
