Peggy Boone Millican, 76 of Homer, Louisiana, formerly of El Dorado, Arkansas, died Sunday, October 8, 2006 at Grace Nursing Home in Shreveport, Louisiana. Born December 3, 1929 in Lillie, Louisiana, she was the daughter of George Curtis Boone and Rosa Rebecca Taylor Boone. She retired from Emerson Motor Company as secretary and was a member of Pleasure Point Baptist Church. Living on Lake Claiborne, she also loved to fish. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Terry Ralph Millican; sister, Maurine Hankins; and a brother, Maury Boone. Mrs. Millican is survived by her husband of almost 60 years, Ralph Milton Millican; a daughter, Kay Francis Ricardo and her husband George of Keithville, Louisiana; a brother, Laddie Boone and his wife Nancy of Knoxville, Tennessee; two grandsons, Mike Ricardo and his wife Sherry of Keithville, and Robert Ricardo of Miami, Florida; a great-granddaughter, Mikel Ann Ricardo of Keithville; and a host of nephews, nieces and other relatives. Funeral services will be 1PM Wednesday, October 11 at the Chapel of Young`s Funeral Directors, with Bro. Dave Peterson officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery in Taylortown. Visitation with the family will be held 6-8PM Tuesday, October 10 at the funeral home, 508 Champagnolle Road, El Dorado.
