Helgeson, Arlene M., age 81, of Rhinelander, died Saturday, November 18, 2006 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 16, 1924 in Rhinelander, the daughter of George and Delilah (Weikel) Naumann. Arlene was a 1942 graduate of Rhinelander High School, and she later married Raymond Helgeson on June 21, 1945. She had been employed by Petersen Health Care for over 35 years, retiring in 2002. Arlene was a member of the Townline Hobby Club, and she enjoyed gardening, especially flowers, birds and wildlife. Mostly, she cherished spending time with her family, her grandchildren in particular.
She is survived by four sons; Terry (Phyllis),
Steve (Kari),
Mike, and
Dan (Anne) Helgeson,
and two daughters; Suzanne (Ed) Jenkins, Rhinelander,
and Diane (Dave) Faldet, McIntosh, MN.,
a brother, George (Moni) Naumann,
as well as sixteen grandchildren,
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray, on October 29, 2002, a brother, and two sisters.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 24, 2006 at 11:00 A.M at the Northland Memorial Park Cemetery with Joseph Faldet officiating.
