David M. WILSON, age 64, of Lebanon, Ohio, passed peacefully Saturday, November 5, 2005, at his home in Lebanon, Ohio. Born September 4, 1941 in Elmwood, Ohio, he was the son of Elza and Winnie (Rainwater) Wilson and was a retired Pastor from the First Apostolic Church in Carrollton, Kentucky. He had previously worked for Ford Motor Company in Evendale and had been the Pastor for 18 years of a church founded by his father, Reverend Elza Wilson - Life Tabernacle in Lebanon, Ohio. He was very active and well known within the community of Lebanon. He served as Chairman of the Warren County Metropolitan Housing Authority and the City of Lebanon Board of Festivals and Tourism. He had been the President of the Rotary Club in Lebanon, Ohio and Carrollton, Kentucky. Bishop Wilson had earned his Doctorate of Divinity in 1998. Preceded in death by his father, he is survived by his loving and caring wife of 47 years, Marlene (Marshall) Wilson; his mother, Winnie (Rainwater) Wilson; one son, D. Scott Wilson of Houston, Texas; one daughter, Cathy Rice of Lebanon, Ohio and three grandchildren, Luke Weber, Lauren Wilson-Zaffos and Joshua Wilson. Friends may call on the family Saturday, November 12, 2005 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home and again that evening in Kenwood, Ohio at the First Apostolic Church of Kenwood from 4:00pm until 7:00pm. Funeral services will be held at 7:00pm with Bishop Samuel Smith officiating. Entombment will take place Sunday morning, November 13, 2005 the Rest Haven Memorial Park in Blue Ash, Ohio. The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Apostolic World Christian Fellowship, for details visit, `www.awcf.org`.
