Billy Lee Claytor, 64, of 2228 Mt. Vernon St. went to be with the Lord on Sunday June 12, 2005 at his residence. He was born February 1, 1941 in Waynesboro the son of the late Delbert (Dick) and Gertie Shifflett Claytor. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, an Army veteran and retired from Guests Inc. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Claytor. Survivors include his wife Charlotte Ann (Evans) Claytor, three sons, Dennis Claytor and his wife Patsy of Stuarts Draft, Doug Claytor and his wife Jennifer of Myrtle Beach, SC and Daniel Claytor of the residence, one sister, Joyce Henderson of Stuarts Draft, one brother, David Claytor of Harriston, eight grandchildren, Sally McGrath, Amy Dunlap, Abby Claytor, Taylor Claytor, Marley Claytor, Eric Claytor, Andrew Claytor and Tyler Claytor. A service will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday June 15, 2005 at Calvary United Methodist Church by Rev. B. Failes. Burial to follow at Augusta Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Ted Owens, Tim Dameron, Wayne Potter, Jim Roberts, Jeff Henderson and George Maupin. The family will receive friends 7:00-8:00 PM Tuesday June 14, 2005 at Reynolds Funeral Service of Waynesboro.
