Arthur Vernon “Art” Grey, 81, Ottawa, died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2008.

He was born Thursday, Nov. 25, 1926, at Agricola to Arthur Elmer and Roxy Anna (Fletcher) Grey.

He served in the U.S. Navy.

He worked at Parmelee Industries.

He married Marjorie Almeda (Keim) Welton at Sept. 3, 1971. She preceded him in death June 19, 2008.

Survivors include stepdaughters, Judy Curran, Ottawa, Lois Marie Lambert, Tampa, Fla., and Beverly Weber, Princeton; a stepson, Roy Willis Welton, Independence, Kan.; 10 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

He also was preceded in death by brothers, Alvin Grey, Floyd Grey and Alfred Grey; and a granddaughter.

Cremation is planned.

Family will meet with friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Dengel & Son Mortuary.
